Gluten Defense contains gluten and casein digestive enzymes to help your body digest wheat and dairy.*† It contains DPP IV (dipeptidyl peptidase) activity from a protease enzyme specific to the digestion of gluten so you can enjoy every meal and moment.* (†Gluten from grains and casein from dairy.)
How to Use
  • Adults take 2 capsules with each meal or as recommended by a healthcare professional.
  • If you are pregnant, nursing, have diabetes, or if you are taking any medications, consult a healthcare professional before use. While Gluten Defense™ will reduce the level of reactive gliadin and gluten proteins in a meal, it is advised that celiac disease sufferers continue with their normal gluten-exclusion diet as even small amounts of gliadin can cause adverse reactions in the most sensitized individuals.

The vegetarian enzymes used in Gluten Defense™ are produced through the fermentation of fungal organisms, including Aspergillus, Rhizopus, and Saccharomyces. Some of the vegetarian enzyme products contain maltase, which is derived from malt barley. If a product contains maltase, it is not gluten-free.

The most common enzyme measurement systems are Food Chemical Codex (FCC), United States Pharmacoepia (USP), and Federal Internationale Pharmaceutique (FIP).
