Nature’s Way performs additional tests to ensure every supplier’s testing meets federal regulatory and our own high standards. Extra testing is especially critical for monitoring higher-risk botanicals.

Nature’s Way verifies suppliers' compliance with protective laws like California’s Proposition 65 on a periodic or annual basis. We do this to ensure the raw material meets regulatory standards and won’t expose you to harmful levels of heavy metals, including arsenic, cadmium, mercury, and lead.

Acid value

The acid value of vitamin D3 oil is an indicator of its freshness. Nature’s Way tests acid value to ensure the oil’s quality and to confirm it hasn’t broken down.
