Question:

How do I add your powder and liquid supplements to food?

Adding supplements to your food and recipes is a great way to get your intake. We have many great products that can be added to food, including oils and powders. First, though, it’s important the amount of product in the recipe or food does not exceed the recommended daily dose on the label. Before you use, check the product label for relevant recommendation and warning statements.

Adding supplements to your food and recipes is a great way to get your intake! I should point out first, though, that it’s important the amount of product in the recipe or food does not exceed the recommended daily dose on the label. We have many great products that can be added to food, including oils and powders. Coconut Oil is a staple for baking and cooking. Use it for sauteing or in your next batch of banana bread. MCT Oil, on the other hand, is great for adding smoothies and salad dressings. It’s flavorless and odorless so mixes well with a variety of foods. Any salad dressing you make doesn’t need to be used solely for salads. Think about it when you’re making pasta salads too! It makes a fantastic marinade for pasta salads and wraps. You can use dressings in so many different things and get the health benefits of your favorite oil at the same time.

One of my favorite powders is our Fortify™ Daily Prebiotic Fiber. It’s a delicious raspberry lemonade flavor. It mixes well with smoothies, juices, applesauce, and yogurt. But there is one rule to follow when it comes to probiotic and prebiotic powders: don’t put them in anything hot because that can potentially kill the bacteria.
