The Children & Nature Network believes that spending time in nature makes kids happier, healthier and more successful in school. And they have the research to prove it! This national nonprofit organization works to create equitable access to nature everywhere children live, learn and play. By mobilizing leaders, educators, activists, practitioners and parents, the Children & Nature Network helps connect children, families and communities to the benefits of nature – and deepens our understanding of the importance of outdoor experiences and learning for children’s healthy development.
Are you kidding? We knew we had to team up with them!
We’re so proud to be the exclusive sponsor of the Children & Nature Network’s 2023 Vitamin N Challenge to help everyone, everywhere spend more time outside finding peace, joy, and inspiration in nature, and we want you to join us. We’ll be creating a series of challenges all summer long to get you started, because more time in nature is good for us all.
“The Children & Nature Network's mission is to increase equitable access to nature so that children--and the natural world--can thrive. We look forward to partnering with them, our employees and the community to spread the word that nature is not only beneficial, it is essential,” said our Chief Marketing Officer, Andrew Hartshorn.
The challenge works like this:
- Choose your challenge. We’ll be announcing tons of challenge possibilities all summer long including how you can create your own nature scavenger hunt, like our team did at our local Fort Snelling State Park. You can also find more suggestions over at the Children & Nature Network Website
- Make a summer plan, take the pledge, and grab your friends, family, kids, or coworkers.
- Share your experience with us on Instagram or wherever you use social media by using #VitaminNChallenge. Who knows? We may feature you in one of our spotlight challenges!
Now, let’s set a goal and get outside!
